  • What does the time I book mean?

The time slot refers to your sleigh ride time. Please arrive at the farm at least 30 minutes before this time and arrive at the sleigh ride station 10 minutes before this time. Because of the tight time schedule and the other families on the sleigh ride, we cannot delay the sleigh at all. As many slots sell out, it may not be possible to reschedule your sleigh ride to later if you are late. You are welcome to arrive earlier than 30 minutes before your sleigh ride if you wish, but no earlier than 10 am when we open.

  • Do we have to book for Ice Skating?

Yes, we would always encourage you to pre book your Ice skating sessions online, unfortunatly we are very limited on the day as these do tend to sell out.

  • Can food and goods be paid for on card or cash

There are at least seven food outlets plus drinks outlets, all have take card and cash payment - however as the site is dependent on wireless card machines it is wise to have cash available incase card systems temporarily fail.

  • Does the Christmas experience have an admission charge?

Yes. Prices vary depending on whether the the date is peak or off peak and for adults or children. Please visit our prices page for more info.

  • Do I book ahead or pay on the day?

Most dates sold out in advance last year. Tickets are available online and can be purchased at the event, although we strongly suggest that tickets are ordered online as there is limited availability and may not be available on the day.  Tickets are sold on a “first come, first served” basis on the day if availability allows due to cancellations etc.

  • Can the Sleigh Ride tickets be used at any time of the day?

No. When you book online you select a time and date for which to book tickets.  Alternatively, when you buy your tickets at the kiosk in person, you will be booking for the next available time slot during that day. Please arrive at the farm at least 30 minutes before your sleigh ride and at the sleigh ride station at least 10 minutes before your allotted departure time. If you miss your booked time slot, you will be asked to wait for the next ride on which there are spaces free.  On very busy days, there may not be any further spaces available, meaning that you could end up not taking the ride at all. Please do make sure you arrive for your booked slot. You are welcome to arrive earlier than 30 minutes before your sleigh ride time up to our opening time at 10am.

  • Is it a real Sleigh Ride?

This is a sleigh ride farmer style! The ride is on a tractor-driven hay wagon with bench seating, a canopy in case of inclement weather and a friendy elf to make sure all are safe and entertain you on the way.

  • Do adults have to pay?

Yes. Everyone visiting the Tulleys Family Christmas needs to buy a ticket. Children MUST be accompanied. The Santa experience is magical for all ages, but we do not give out presents to adults, which is why the ticket price for over 14s is cheaper.
