Ticketing
Does the Christmas experience have an admission charge?
No. It is free for visitors to shop, watch the Carol Singin' Chicken show, visit the Christmas Shop and take in the atmosphere.
We charge for all visitors wishing to take Santa's Sleigh Ride, all children participating in the 'Elf Hunt' and children aged 3 years to 13 years entering the Christmas Barn.
Do I book ahead or pay on the day?
You may pay on the day for all the Christmas activities or you can book Combo tickets, Santa's Sleigh Ride and Ice Skating on-line in advance. Online booking for each day will close approximately 24 hours in advance. You will need a printer to print your bar-coded tickets, which you present at the kiosk on arrival. The Elf Hunt and Christmas Barn cannot be booked in advance, although you may purchase Child Combo tickets in advance, which include these activities. During our Christmas event opening times, you may book tickets in person at the admissions kiosk, either for the next available sleigh ride or ice-skating slot for that day or for future dates. We are not able to offer telephone booking.
Can the Sleigh Ride tickets be used at any time of the day?
No. If you book online you select a time and date for which to book tickets. Alternatively, when you book your tickets at the kiosk in person, you will be booking for the next available time slot during that day. Please arrive at the sleigh ride station at least 10 minutes before your allotted departure time. If you miss your booked time slot, you will be asked to wait for the next ride on which there are spaces free. On very busy days, there may not be any further spaces available.

This is a sleigh ride farmer style! The ride is on a tractor-driven hay wagon with bench seating, a canopy in case of inclement weather and a friendy elf to make sure all are safe and entertain you on the way.
Do adults pay for the Sleigh ride?
